“ We went tonight to Goblets and Goblins for Puzzle Night, and it was such a great experience. It was our first time visiting, and my wife and I absolutely loved it. There was a wide assortment of puzzles to choose from, and we decided on a 500-piece puzzle, we even almost finished it! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it felt really nice to be around people who share the same passions for puzzles, board games, and comics without any judgment. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind and enjoy your hobbies. We ordered a London Fog and a caramel macchiato, and both were delicious. On top of that, the service and hospitality were excellent. Everyone was friendly and made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be coming back! ”

“ Had a wonderful experience tonite. Great food the grand slam nachos are amazing and are great for sharing. great service thank you camreon. Amazing large selection of games. The rooms are themed which are really cool I love the sponge bob bathroom and the d&d themed rooms. ”

“ Absolutely fantastic experience here. A friend and I arrived and were immediately greeted warmly by staff, we enjoyed good food and played a board game. The atmosphere was relaxed, inviting, and even when it began to get busier that sense of beinf in our own little space did not change. Many, many many board games and all in good working order from what we could tell. I will definitely come back anytime I am in the area. *they currently have string lights up from the holidays, and it really adds to the atmosphere of the space. I hope they choose to keep them! ”

“ Genuinely some of the best food and service I’ve ever had, as well as such a nice atmosphere. Like the fries were SO GOOD. I only ate a sandwich but it was still a great sandwich. The server was incredibly helpful, hardworking, and kind as well. Sadly I didn’t catch their name but it was whoever was working July 14th 2024 at 11am. They were so incredible, kept checking on us and making sure we were good, and were very quick to bring food and drinks after we ordered it even with all the up and down from us being in the basement. Even gave me a great tip of adding vanilla to my matcha latte which was delicious. There were three rooms that we saw to set up in and play, two larger rooms with at least 6 tables seating 4-6 people and one smaller room with two bigger tables seating up to 6-8 people each I would say? The decorations were gorgeous and it was fun finding mangas my friend and I recognized on the manga wall on the stairs leading to the basement. There was a wide variety of boardgames, some of which I’d never seen before, ranging from family friendly to not family friendly, short and long games, and simple and harder games. There’s some arcade games in the basement as well, and a video game section upstairs but I did not check that out. There was a small shop as well, which sold cute plushes, dice, books, a few games, and more. All in all it was a great experience and my friends and I intend to come back again. It’s a great place for boardgame lovers to meet up and play some new or old favourite games! ”

“ This place is great! If you like board games, D&D, LOTR, Star Wars, card games or anything geeky, you will love this place. It's located in an old house with lots of rooms to explore. You can even rent the themed rooms for your party or game group. I'm just so impressed with amount of detail in their decorations and room-to-room atmosphere - creativity everywhere!. There's some great to look at no matter where your eyes fall. It's also a friendly and inclusive place, suitable for families, friends, gamers, grand parents and yes, Goblins! ”

“ Goblets and Goblins is one of my favourite places in Newmarket. The food is incredible, the staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable about both the food and games available. It’s such a cozy, family friendly place that I always recommend people to go! Plus, in the summer they have a dog friendly patio that my pup and I enjoy. ”
